Arm & Yak” is a collaboratively created and spirited take on the distinctly well known brandy, Armagnac. Wise Villa Winery fermented and aged the red wine base for this brandy for 2 years in French oak, then local California Distilled Spirits distilled the wine into brandy a single time to retain complex aromatics, then aged the resulting brandy for an additional 2 more years before bottling.
Tasting notes of toffee, toasted vanilla, spice, and orange peel followed by a lingering finish of creme brule.
